Jessica & John - Rainy Seattle Wedding at Art Marble 21
There’s a funny story that goes along with these next two weddings I’m going to post.
You see there were two weddings scheduled back to back.
Both couples were named Jessica and Jo(h)n - one couple was getting married on the West Coast the other East Coast, and there were the same guests at BOTH weddings.
But this Jessica and John was the first of my double header.
I met Jessica when she worked with my mom in RTP. She was always bubbly, fun, and of course I couldn’t pass up to befriend another Jessica. But then all of a sudden she decided to up and move across the country and start a completely new life; one where she met her now husband.
I guess you could say it was the move of a lifetime.
Although I expected rain in Seattle (even though every time I’ve ever visited it’s been sunny and 70) I was surprised that it was actually really rainy and not the mist I was used to. I walked a good mile to procure some umbrellas to really make sure to capture the day (rain and all)
Even though Jessica’s dress got soaked we were able to dry it off in a hand dryer in the hotel lobby before heading over to Art Marble 21 for their ceremony and reception.
A handful of family and friends gathered to watch them share vows and be married. I wish I could have stayed for the entire evening but alas I had to travel to the entire other side of the country for the second half of this Jessica and John double header.
