With a line of concer-goers zig-zagging through the ropes outside of the venue, Coheed and Cambria and the legends Glassjaw were ready for Raleigh. From a photographer point of view, the opening band was lackluster. It was tough getting any kind of shot of them, due to their minimal lighting. I liked their sound though, so I put down my camera for their set and just enjoyed their set.
Almost as soon as Silver Snakes was finished, a chant of "I The Mighty" started in the crowd. This was a pleasant surprise because I The Mighty was the band I was most excited to see. Just a relatively new band from California, they had the numbers in Raleigh. They came out and played a great set to a crowd that was soaking up every minute of it. The band was all smiles and that makes for a great atmosphere to be in.

After a set from I The Mighty that would be hard to top, something told me that Glassjaw wouldn't have a problem topping it. Being a band that I had always heard about but never actually listened to, I was pretty excited to have my first experience with them be a live one.
The band stepped out on the stage and everyone went crazy. The music kicked in and 30 minutes of jumping and crowdsurfing began. It is safe to say that I've been missing out on the whole glassjaw wagon.
