The 'Clergy' Gathers in Raleigh For Ghost

Known for their horror inspired appearances; Papa Emeritus III and the Nameless Ghouls brought their Popestar Tour to Raleigh earlier this week. Their satanic themes have cause controversy in the United States, taking on public television and retail bans in their early years. In 2015, Ghost began to see an acceptance of their music and imagery within the US and performed on live television during a Halloween episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. To even further prove their growing popularity, the Swedish grout won the 2015 Grammy for Best Metal Performance.

Their live performance was like none other. In front of a backdrop mimicking stained glass windows, the Nameless Ghouls played their instruments flawlessly; lead by the precise voice of Papa Emeritus III. And after a marathon of songs, the band joined at the front of the stage to take a bow for their 'Clergy' of fans.

This current tour is almost over, so if you weren't able to make it to one of the shows you can keep up to date with their tours, news, and listen to the Popestar EP through their website,
