The first thing I have to say about Lara & Bob's wedding was that I wasn't sure I was even going to make it. A little under 2 weeks before their wedding I was in the hospital with a broken leg - but that didn't stop me from road tripping the 4 hours to Asheville with two of the best shooters I could find to make sure their wedding was covered and captured beautifully.
I didn't get to meet Lara or Bob before their wedding day as they actually live in Philly (but have traveled all over the world). But from the many conversations I had with Lara I knew they would be down to earth and up for anything. Both Bob and Lara got ready at Air BnB's in Asheville before heading to Claxton Farms for their first look.
On a gorgeous spring day, surrounded by mountains and friends, Bob and Lara exchanged vows, and had family incorporated into the ceremony.
Bob brewed all the beer for the wedding (which was delicious) and they dined on southern classics like mac and cheese and ribs.
It was a gorgeous day and I was so thankful I was able to power through it and capture some of the most amazing photos I've ever seen. (oh and did I mention there is a llama) Check them out below.
