Cazzie & Caren - Grayson Highland Engagement

This summer I gave away a photo session at Grayson Highlands National Park because well - I wanted to go there and I wanted to take some really awesome photos and I really wanted to see some mini horses (aka Lil Sebastian's) 

Caren aka "Always a Foreigner" was the lucky name to fall out of the hat and it was so convenient because she just happened to get engaged. Since we both have busy schedules it wasn't until the end of September that we could schedule the shoot and I'm so happy we did. 

The leaves were just starting to change and the weather was absolutely perfect which made hiking up the mountain a breeze. And even though they were auctioning off the wild ponies and were not roaming - we ended up seeing three of them right as we were about to leave. Which I have to say made my heart so happy. 

Caren and Cazzie were so easy to talk to and get to know and I'm so glad I got to meet these two and I can't wait to hear about how they decide to wed - whether it's an intimate elopement, an Asheville affair, or an international whirlwind - I hope they choose me to capture it.
