I met Julia and Dan at the wedding show and had an instant connection. I loved getting to know them over the year via social media.

I enjoyed getting to capture all of the detail photos because so many were sentimental to Julia and Dan. Julia incorporated her late father's tie as her something old and something blue. Dan was an Olympic swimmer and his Olympic watch was stolen from him. Julia found a 2008 Beijing edition Omega watch as a surprise for his gift. While Dan got a handmade perfume made from a store in NY when they had visited there together. She also surprised him with a popcorn machine during the reception (yum!).

Their sunset ceremony was a race against the clock to get all their portraits done, but they knew they wanted a sunset ceremony. And it was definitely worth it!
