Keisha & Phil - Raleigh Wedding Photographer
Keisha and Phil put family above all else. This entire day was created by family for their family. Yard games allowed everyone interact, while dinner was served on family style dishes with tables modeled after the tables they sat around as children. Keisha and her mother made sure to include tons of personal elements and created a lot of the decor including the handpainted and decorated wine bottle centerpieces.
From the speeches to the prayer, and even the ceremony involved a member of their families. They included both the African American tradition of "jumping the broom" and the Jewish tradition of "breaking the glass" at the ceremony to celebrate the joining together of their two families.
At the reception games were played, photos taken (as they had portable cameras at every table as well as a photo booth), and dancing commenced.
