William & Colleen - Boylan Bridge Surprise Proposal

I love a good surprise proposal. I especially love them when they involve two of my friends, and one who I’ve known since High School.

William (aka Billy) told me he was going to pop the question to Colleen months ago. He had it all planned, get the ring, ask her family, bring them down, plan an epic dinner, call her out of work, and have a celebratory weekend together - all without her knowing.

She had been asking for another photo shoot for awhile (I had taken their photos a few years ago) so Billy set it up, getting me to pretend that I was available for a Friday appointment at the last minute.

We started with a few snaps before Billy got on one knee and Colleen spun around to hear him ask her.

After that her family, who was actually drinking at the bar nearby came walking over to congratulate them.

We snapped a few shots during blue hour under the bridge before they all headed to Mulino’s for a surprise engagement dinner

So happy for these two and can’t wait to capture more magical memories for them in the future.
