Courtney & James - Caffe Luna Wedding

Courtney and James organized a simple ceremony with a handful of friends and family at Caffe Luna in Downtown Raleigh. What was supposed to be a downpour ended up being a simple fall shower that passed within an hour, allowing us to snap a few photos in the rain, and some sunny portraits later in the day.

These two were great sports as we ventured through Downtown Raleigh with umbrellas and found some secret spots perfect to take shelter and take amazing photos.

They opened the floor for anyone to give toasts, my favorite was from a fictional cat, who after they were gifted with an oil portrait of him (would love to know the backstory on that one) but I had never seen a line so long for people to tell stories and give good wishes towards the newlyweds. Almost every guest had a chance to speak and it was apparent that not only are these two perfect together but that they have a ton of love and support.
