Zoe & CJ - Americana Inspired Engagement Session

I have been dreaming of a shoot like this for so long, and I can’t believe that it happened in the middle of nowhere, I’m talking back of a Walmart packing lot after venturing through a weird wooded path to get access to the electrical lines.

Ever since I was a little kid I would always pass by an enbankment of large electrical lines running through an open field and was obsessed with the beauty and possibility of them. It reminded me of the golden days and when I found access to some for a shoot I knew I had to get a couple in front of them, and boy did I hit the jackpot with these two.

Zoe & CJ met while they were in college in Maine, and eventually decided to become truck drivers and travel the world. They found some amazing spots all over the midwest that they can’t wait to explore again one day. We even stumbled upon a bunch of abandoned semi truck beds in our journey and got to take some photos that truly represented the beginning of their relationship and life together.
