Wildflower Engagement at the North Carolina Museum of Art - Alex & Joseph

The NCMA or North Carolina Museum of Art is one of the number one locations for engagement photos in the Triangle. Every weekend (and most weekdays) this sprawling park is full of photographers capturing memories for families and couples. And with such gorgeous grounds its no wonder it's such a destination for Raleigh Wedding Photographers. Since the pandemic, the NCMA has cultivated the grounds to produce sprawling fields of wildflowers. Typically these fields bloom in the late summer but because of the renovations to the People’s collection at the museum, they planted the fields late and now they bloom in late September, early October.

Alex and Joseph wanted to commemorate their engagement and time in the Triangle by taking a walk at one of their favorite parks. These two met online and bonded over their shared love of video games, food, and true crime (let’s be honest who doesn’t love true crime, I know I do). They absolutely had to have their dog Ford along in the photos as well, which can I say was an amazing choice because he is truly the most photogenic pup!

They are having an intimate wedding in the mountains next year and I can’t wait to travel along with them on their adventures and capture another memory for them.
