Hillsborough Civil Ceremony at the Orange County Courthouse - Marjolene & Ricardo

Okay ya’ll. I have some bad news.

This was the LAST wedding ceremony that will be taking place OUTSIDE at the Orange County Courthouse in Hillsborough.

I know. I’m devastated. But it turns out that the secret was out and the magistrates want to keep people from getting married outside of their county and are putting a ban on outdoor ceremonies. Luckily Marjolene had asked permission before the new rule went into effect (and there have been rare occasions where some magistrates still take clients outside but it’s definitely case by case so I wouldn’t bank on it) But while you might not be able to get outside anymore, the grounds outside the Hillsborough courthouse are still quite lovely. There is so much luscious green space to play with, and an entire greenway on the other side. So it still has it charms. Also a few clients choose to have a toast at one of the local bars or wine shops.

Needless to say, still options for great photos.

Now about these two stunning people! They met on Valentines Day 2020, right before the pandemic and have been inseperable every since. She’s from Mexico and he’s from Chile (They also have a puppy named Chillie), and they love spending time at the gym, going to the movies, and traveling together. They even had a mini moon in Hilton Head! These two have such fun spirits and were an absolute pleasure to work with.
