Classic, Elegant Wedding at The Pavilion at Carriage Farm in Raleigh with Mandy and Matt

I have always had a tendency of remembering the couples and the small quirks that I witness on their wedding days. But what made this wedding ceremony more special to me, was the fact that Mandy remembered working with me at Jessica & Logan’s wedding. She recalled being able to lean on me for help on that day for things outside of photography and I was very thankful that she wanted me to capture her special day with Matt. If it was a fun, open photographer she wanted, well, that’s me!

Matt & Mandy are both critical care transport nurses who have been together for a little over 4 years. They share an adorable puppy named Bump and live together in Clayton, NC. When I asked them what they envisioned for their special day, the couple agreed that the vibes would be fun and easy. This was even more evident to me when I witnessed them getting reading in their PJs that they both have had since high school!

One of the important aspects that Mandy wanted to incorporate, however, was having her God Mother as her flower girl. She recalled being her God Mother’s flower girl when she was younger, and thought it would be perfect for them to trade places for her wedding.

The black and white elegance of the wedding party paired with the neutral greenery of the florals helped create a timeless atmosphere for this special day. And Mandy and Matt never stopped smiling throughout the ceremony and reception.
